LOTF: To spoil or not to spoil?
Okay, so heavy-duty spoilers for Invincible will soon start appearing in all the usual places. Read what's there so far, but it's nothing major.... yet. I've actually been considering staying spoiler-free for this book, even though I haven't really made any effort to be spoiler-free for anything SW (well, anything I actually care about) in more than a decade. Should I?

Oh wow, it's out on May 13th? I thought it was pushed back to June. I was confused about why spoilers could be out so early, ha.

No, the TFU books got pushed back, as well as a lot of the fall stuff, but the LOTF release dates have been stayed pretty consistent.

It does seem early for spoilers, though. The guy who found the book is in Sweden or something....

I'm too busy/unenthused to go to TFN for spoilers, so I won't see any. I don't think anything that's actually incendiary will happen anyway.

I'm actually a bit relieved to be able to avoid the TFN spoiler thread, at least for a while. They tend to move too fast for me anyway... And, BONUS, I can avoid all the people flailing over some silly detail.

But, you never know ... there could be zombies!

True. But I have faith that if zombies were to appear, it would be in an Allston book, not Denning.

Maybe next time.

My faith in the EU will not be restored until there are zombies :|

... hmm, they could kill two birds with one stone and make Mara a zombie. Fun for both the fangirls and fanboys!

Atty, don't give anyone ideas! :O

They've already had it, more or less. Remember that 'bring Mara back at any cost' petition?

Oh, yes. It was about the only idea I've seen that was worse than the idea of killing Mara off in the first place. Therefore, Atty is not allowed to make it sound even marginally cool by throwing in the word "zombie". What if the wrong weak-minded person at Del Rey gets wind of it? I trust them not. :p

Um, how would I go about contacting this "weak minded" person at Del Ray? Is there an email? Suggestion box?

If the EU ever has zombies, I will totes buy that book. Even though I don't read the EU.

I know! Me too! Can you just imagine? Jedi zombie hunters!

You might as well, just for the novelty of it. :p

I'm not going to go looking for spoilers, because I want my reaction, whatever it is, to be my reaction. I won't have a conniption fit if I see spoilers, but I won't deliberately look where I know they are.

Edit: Might as well avoid the spoilers, I mean. That wasn't worded very clearly. :p

With the last one, I was half-sick of the book before it had even came out... So that, more than anything, is driving this.

I usually avoid spoilers, but I'm not going to stay away when it comes to TCW, because I just have to know. XD And I really care about TCW, so. I'm not sure if that effects spoiler-readings.

But if you're not as invested in the series, spoilers may actually ruin the series, because then you feel like you know everything and then you're not getting the full impact.

It usually doesn't bother me, but I might be TFNed out.

I actually go spoiler-free for quite a lot of stuff - books and TV - but mainly things where I'm not active in the fandom. It's easy to avoid, say, ASOIAF spoilers, because I simply don't go to ASOIAF sites. And honestly, I'm usually not interested until after I've seen/read it myself.

I'm so behind in my EU reading it's not even funny anymore...

and I can't stand where they've taken Jacen so I'm just happily staying in my EU fandom prior to the galaxy far fay away getting infested by the living undead and stupid dark Jedi family traits popped into the picture...

I have issues... I refuse to deal lol

Ehh, Jacen. He was never a big deal to me so in a way it's kind of weird to pharse the folks at TFN and NJOE who were deeply involved in YJK and other other things I tend to write off as junk...

I lived in Kenai, Alaska... we were lucky to have Star Wars books at all, so I've never read the YJK series... I think I might have read part of one at some point but I can't be certain.

I loved Jacen and Jaina in the Correlian trilogy and the like. :) and they were pretty cute in the Jedi Temple series lol...

And I ADORE Jacen in the NJO... especially during and after Traitor... *has a crush on a fictional character and is proud of it lol*
